Mobile Phone Expert, www.mobilephone-expert.co.uk is a mobile phone comparison site that prides itself on offering users a simple process to find a new mobile phone and tariff. The site aims to do this by providing users with fewer results based on their preferences so they don’t have to scroll through pages and pages of phones.
The user selects a phone based on what features and function they want, for example the colour, whether they want a touch screen or a flip phone. The user is then shown the handsets that meet the criteria they have chosen; this includes a comparison of features and a star rating from the site. Once the user has decided on a handset they are provided with a comparison of tariffs from the 5 major mobile networks.
The Mobile Phone Expert also offers consumers advice related to choosing a phone and plan. In addition, there is an option to include deals from resellers, such as Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse, however this does significantly increase the number of results.
After exploring the site, it seems to be a quick and easy way for users to compare the latest handsets and tariff deals without being overwhelmed and much simpler solution than other comparison sites of this nature. What do you think, have you seen better examples?

Nice article. But do we really need another comparison site? and offering us less?
I think its about time a site let us compare the best results from the major comparison sites out there (moneysupermarket, gocompare, comparethemeerkat etc.)

Thanks Johnathan. I agree with you that comparison sites should now be concerned with making search results more relevant, I feel Mobile Phone Expert is a good example of this.
However, I believe that it is about time that a site is developed, which compares the comparison sites, as their results are more selective than they claim to be - different comparison sites present different results.
I'll keep a look out as this is very interesting and post if I find one.
