Create a target market and focus on reaching as many members of that market as possible with attractive content before you think of expanding if at all you need to. 

A niche also makes it easy to spot your areas of strength as well as where you need to put in more effort because you aren’t focused on too many products/services all at the same time.

Start Networking

Create connections and partnerships with similar bloggers who don’t necessarily have to have a bigger audience though that may be an advantage. You may answer questions together and do joint social promotions or giveaways. These attract more people to your blog or website thereby increasing traffic. Make sure that these partnerships and connections are maintained because it is as important to foster partnerships as it is to generate them. You may need to do more joint campaigns in the future and getting new bloggers with similar ideas and views to partner with may become difficult.
